Recognized for her keen sense of style, attention to detail, and dedication to creating the perfect environment for her clients' needs, Lauren Held has established herself in the field of interior design. Her love of fashion, color, and design became her lifelong dream. After graduating from the school of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University, she took a job at Macys in the buying department with a focus on visual presentation. After four years at Macys and years helping to design and enhance homes for family and friends, Lauren left to pursue her career in interior design.
Lauren attended Parsons School for Design, where she focused on design practices, construction documents, and building a client base to enhance her knowledge of the industry. During her tenure at Parsons, Lauren was retained to help design and implement construction of a "high end" furniture showroom in the D. & D. building in New York. She also successfully completed design, purchasing of furnishings, and implementation of construction for several residential clients.
Her designs represent environments with style, comfort, and functionality. She is capable of producing "turnkey" projects, and manages all aspects of a project from commencement to completion, including: schematic design and design development, drawings, bidding, construction management, and furnishing installations. Lauren will help make your dreams come true with her hard work and attention to detail as you work through a project together.
